Prof Gautam joins CVASU as VC

CHITTAGONG, Dec 9: Professor of Animal Sciences and Nutrition Dr Gautam Buddha Das joined the post of vice chancellor of Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences (CVASU) University today. He was appointed by the government to the post on the same day.
After joining as CVASU VC he has sought cooperation of all teachers, students, officials, employees and guardians.
He was born in Chandpur sadar in 1963. He took his B.Sc Honours degree in Animal Husbandry in 1985 and M.Sc in 1986. He obtained post-graduate in Human Resource Management in 2008 and PhD in Poultry Nutrition in 2012.
Gautam Buddha Das joined the CVASU as professor in 2003, received higher training courses in Animal Sciences and Poultry Nutrition from Denmark, London, Thailand and India.
