Prof. Ismat Ara joins at IADS as Director

Professor Dr. Ismat Ara Begum, Department of Agricultural Economics, Bangladesh Agricultural University has joined as Director, Institute of Agribusiness and Development Studies (IADS), according to a statement.
Dr. Ismat Ara was appointed to the position of Provost Taposi Rabeya Hall, Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) in July 2020. Previously she also served the same position in Begum Rokeya Hall, BAU. She also completed her two years tenure as the Head of the Department of Agricultural Economics from 2018-2020. She has been involved in teaching and research for more than 20 years.
