The Qulkhawni of eminent eye specialist and a former Lions Governor Professor Mustafizur Rahman will be held on Friday at his Banani residence after Asr prayers. Relatives, friends and admires have been requested to attend the Qul. Also a past Chairman of the Bangladesh Lions Foundation (BLF, Prof Mustafizur Rahaman died at the age of 78 on Tuesday night at United Hospital in the city due to prolonged illness caused by blood cancer. He left behind his wife, three sons, one daughter, grand children and a large number of admirers to mourn his death. After Namaj-e-janaza at the Gulshan Azad Mosque and at Bhaluka in Mymenshingh district, he was laid to eternal rest at the family graveyard, according to BSS.
