Prof Paul urges all to raise voice against war

Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) hosted emeritus Prof Paul Connett, St. Lawrence University, New York at a seminar on the IUB campus in the city recently, says a statement.
Prof Connett, a British national received the 'Friends of the Liberation War Honour' from the government of Bangladesh for his invaluable contribution during the country's Liberation War in 1971.
Abdul Hai Sarker, Chairman, ESTCDT, IUB; Members of the Board of Trustee; Prof. M Omar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, IUB; Prof Milan Pagon, Pro-Vice Chancellor, IUB; and environmental activist Ellen Connett were also present on the occasion.
Prof Paul briefly described the chronology of the War from Vietnam to Bangladesh. He also urged the audience to raise voice against any kind of War.
