Progs soon to realise fresh polls demand: Rizvi

BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Saturday said their programmes would be finalised ‘very soon’ to force the government to concede to their demand for immediate holding of a fresh general election under a neutral caretaker government. “In this regard, a meeting of the BNP standing committee will be convened soon which will be followed by another meeting of the BNP-led 20-party alliance. Then the programmes will be made public through the media,” he said while talking to reporters at the BNP’s Nayapaltan central office, according to a news agency.
