Prosecution ends arguments in Khaleda's graft case

The prosecution concluded on Tuesday its arguments in the Zia Orphanage Trust Graft case filed against six people including BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, report agencies.
Public Prosecutor Mosharraf Hossain Kajal demanded highest punishment for the accused after placing testimony of 32 witnesses.
Mosharraf after placing his arguments claimed the charges brought against Khaleda Zia and others were proven.
Special Judge Court-5 Judge Md Akhteruzzaman set December 20 for placing the arguments of defense council.
Khaleda is scheduled to deliver her self-defense statement in the Zia Charitable Trust Graft case on Wednesday before the same court.
Earlier on December 5, after Khaleda's deposition, the court fixed December 19, 20 and 21 for hearings in the Zia Orphanage Trust and Zia Charitable Trust graft cases.
