About 300 victims under the banner of "Dakkhin Khan Mouza Landowners Samity" organised a press conference at National Press Club VIP Lounge Saturday just before forming the human chain.
Liakat Ali Khan, a victim and also the president of the 'samity' presented their grievances and complaints to the newsmen.
The paper said that Ashiyan City has grabbed the lands of innocent inhabitants of Dakkhin Khan in connivance with high officials of the government .

Dr. Abdul Jalil, former Member of National Atomic Energy Commission, claiming himself as a long time colleague and friend of nuclear scientist late Dr Wajed Mian ,husband of Prime Minister Saikh Hasina, said, he had bought 10.5 katha plot of land with the money he had saved for long 30 years.
