Protests continue for 3rd straight day

Protests against the recent shakeup in Islami Bank Bangladesh top management and operational board continued for the third straight day on Wednesday.
Like other days, a group of people who claimed to be the clients of the country's largest shariah-based bank under the banner of the "Islami Bank Conscious Customers Forum" held a protest rally to realise their seven-point demand, including removal of newly-appointed Islami Bank Chairman Md. Khurshid Alam.
The protesters gathered in front of Islami Bank Tower in Dilkusha before marching through the Dainik Bangla intersection and Purana Paltan area and stopping at the National Press Club.
