Prothom Alo launches campaign for change

Prothom Alo on Monday announced to launch commitment collection campaign with the slogan of 'Bodle Jao Bodle Dao' (get changed bring change) from May 21.
To encourage people in bringing positive change in own behaviour in order to bring greater change in society, the media group announced to run the campaign of gathering commitment of changes from people of 64 different districts, editor of Prothom Alo Motiur Rahman said while addressing a press conference at his office.
"It is not possible to bring about greater social changes without a change in one's own behaviour," he said.
Motive of this campaign is to encourage individual to commit to himself as well as to the society, the Prothom Alo editor said.
"Participants from across the country will voluntarily write their individual commitments on our campaign banners that will be displayed afterwards at the Cox's Bazar sea beach," he added.
According to the campaign details, three commitment collector teams will travel across the country in groups, each comprising five members, to collect commitments at 64 different points from 21 May. They will return to Dhaka after 15 days.
Managing Director of Channel-i Faridur Reza Sagor, Managing Editor of Daily Star Fahim Monaem and Chief of News of ABC Radio Sanaullah Lablu also attended the press conference.
This social campaign will be assisted by Channel-i, ABC Radio and Daily Star.
