PSC exams begin today

The Primary School Certificate (PSC) and its equivalent examinations will begin across the country today (Sunday).
This year more than 3.10 million primary school students are expected to sit for the country's largest public examinations. English will be held under both the PSC and Ebtedayee exams.
The 2.5-hour examinations will start at 11:00 am. The examinations are scheduled to conclude on November 30, 2014. Of the examinees, some 2.8 million students will sit under PSC, while about 0.30 million students will sit under Ebtedayee exam.
In the PSC examinations, the girl students will surpass the boys as the number of female students is 1.5 million and that of the boys is 1.3 million.
