The Public Service Commission (PSC) has delayed the 35th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary tests by a month. The prelims will be held on March 6 instead of February 6. Examinations Controller AEM Nesaruddin on Tuesday said complications over examination centres forced them to revise the date. 'Several examinations, including the SSC, are scheduled for February. We need over 200 examination centres. So, we decided to reschedule the tests,' he said. A record 244,207 candidates have applied to take the tests to enter the civil service, according to bdnews24.com.
