Pubali Bank celebrates 50th anniversary

Pubali Bank Limited hosted a party at Agrabad Hotel in Chittagong recently in celebration of its 50 years of operation. The Bank started its journey by Bangali entrepreneurs in 1959 from the port city.
Chairman of the bank Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder MP addressed the elite and distinguished business persons of the city on the occasion, says a press release.
Directors Sheikh Wahidur Rahman, Giasuddin Ahmed, Monzurur Rahman, Syed Moazzem Hussain, Ahmed Shafi Chowdhury, Habibur Rahman, Fahim Ahmed Faruk Chowdhury, Mohammad Yakub M Faizur Rahman, Mostafa Shahriar Ahmed and Managing Director Helal Ahmed Chowdhury were present at the function.
Referring to skilled management, deposit reserve and sufficient foreign exchange reserve, Chairman Hafiz Ahmed said Pubali Bank could render foreign remittance service to their clients.
Managing Director Helal Ahmed said that Pubali Bank gives priority to provide opportunity and advantage to the customers through application of modern technologies.
Senior executives of the bank were also present at the function.
