Pubali Bank holds seminar on Foreign Trade, forex

FE ReportbrA seminar on 'Foreign Trade and Foreign Exchange' was held at the head office of Pubali Bank recently.brPubali Bank Training Institute organised the seminar, said a press release. Managing Director (MD) of Pubali Bank Ltd Helal Ahmed Chowdhury was present as the chief guest in the seminar.brMr Chowdhury, in his speech, said although foreign exchange business has increased substantially in recent years, there is still huge scope to draw more business in respect of potentiality of the foreign exchange business. brHe asked the officials to increase overall foreign exchange business in order to cope with the changes in the environment of the global banking sector. brHe also put emphasis to explore and expand the business by maintaining regular contact with the importers and exporters and applying modern IT solutions in order to keep the pace of advancement of business in the present competitive scenario. brHe advised them to work hard to increase remittance rendering best customer services. brHe advised all the officials to be meticulous in compliance of instructions of the head office, the Bangladesh Bank, the Securities and Exchange Commission and other regulatory bodies.
