Pubali Bank holds workshop in Cox's Bazar

Pubali Bank Ltd (PBL) held a two-day workshop for branch managers, regional managers and senior executives of the bank at a hotel at Cox's Bazar on August 17 and August 18 to motivate the officials in increasing the bank's business by rendering better services.
PBL Chairman Hafiz Ahmed Majumder was present on the occasion as the chief guest, while Managing Director (MD) Helal Ahmed Chowdhury presided over the workshop.
Directors of the bank Moniruddin Ahmed, Sheikh Wahidur Rahman, Giasuddin Ahmed, Monzurur Rahman, Ahmed Shafi Chowdhury, Habibur Rahman and Fahim Ahmed Faruk Chowdhury were also present at the programme.
The PBL chairman, in his speech, emphasised the need for expanding foreign remittance business through modern banking services. He also urged the bank officials to work sincerely for achieving the target of the year.
The PBL MD, in his speech, said the bank management is doing its best for expansion of business and upgradation of quality services since privatisation of the bank in 1985.
GM of General Services and Development Division AHM Badrul Alam also spoke on the occasion.
In the workshop, the chief guest rewarded 29 best managers with crests for their best performance in the banking services.
