Pubali Bank holds workshop on flat loan

Pubali Bank Limited recently organised a workshop on flat loan at the bank's head office in the city.
Consumers credit agents of the bank from all over the country and 132 branch managers participated in the workshop.
Managing Director of the bank Helal Ahmed Chowdhury attended the workshop as the chief guest while Head of Consumers Credit Division Md Hafizur Rahman was in the chair.
Helal Ahmed Chowdhury in his speech gave necessary guidelines to the consumer credit agents. He said that the bank fixed the lowest rate of interest in flat loan in the competitive market.
He urged all agents and branch managers to lay stress on selection of potential borrower and try to enhance bank business. He also urged them to keep close vigilance so that disbursed loans might not become overdue or classified.
Consumer credit agents exchanged their views with branch managers to enrich the flat loan scheme and to extend business.
General managers of the head office and other senior executives were also present on the occasion.
