Pubali Bank Ltd inaugurates non-resident credit scheme

Pubali Bank Limited has recently started a collateral-free credit line titled "Non-Resident Credit Scheme" for those who intend to go abroad for employment.
Inaugurating the project, Managing Director of the bank Helal Ahmed Chowdhury handed over a cheque to Abdus Sattar Majumder, a Dubai going employment seeker, Tuesday, said a press release.
Underscoring the facility of the scheme, first ever in the country, Helal Ahmed Chowdhury said any one can avail himself of this facility. It will prevent them from disposing of ancestral homestead for going abroad for an employment, he added.
Among others, Chief Financial Officer of the bank ATM Hasanuzzaman and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.
