Pubali Bank to introduce online banking soon

A meeting of the board of directors of Pubali Bank Limited was held at its board room in the city recently focusing on upgradation of information technology (IT).
Pubali Bank board of directors Chairman Haflz Ahmed Majumder presided over the meeting, said a press release.
Also present at the meeting were Pubali Bank directors Moniruddin Ahmed, Sk Wahidur Rahman, Monzurur Rahman, Syed Moazzem Hussain, Ahmed Shafi Chowdhury, Habibur Rahman, Fahim Ahmed Faruk Chowdhury, Rumana Sharif, M Faizur Rahman and Mostafa Ahmed, alternative Director Kabiruzzaman Yakub, Managing Director Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, Consultant Rafiqul Islam, General Manager and Chief Financial Officer ATM Hasanuzzaman, General Manager (IT Division) MA Zubair, General Manager and Chief Technical Officer Mohammad Ali, and General Manager and Company Secretary AFM Asaduzzaman.
Details of online banking was discussed in the meeting.
Pubali Bank IT division presented their recent development elaborately. The bank with its 361 branches will introduce online banking very soon.
Ten branches of Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet will be connected with online banking system this year.
All branches of the bank will be under online system within a short span of time.
The board took the decision to further modernise its IT division.
