Pubali Bank wins remittance award

Pubali Bank has been awarded the 'Remittance Award' by the non-profit private research institute Centre for Non-Resident Bangladeshis in recognition of its its contribution to remittance collection in 2023. The research institute organised a 'Branding Bangladesh' ceremony at a city hotel, where Pubali Bank received the award. Mohammad Ali, managing director and CEO of Pubali Bank, collected the award from Dr Mashiur Rahman, economic affairs adviser to the prime minister. Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury MP, state minister for Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment, attended the ceremony as a special guest, while Dr AK Abdul Momen, former Foreign Minister, was present as the guest of honour. MS Shekil Chowdhury, chairperson of the Centre, presided over the event.
