Public holiday in Narsingdi Jan 19

The government has declared public holiday in Narsingdi Pourasava areas due to mayoral and councillors' elections on January 19 to facilitate the voters to exercise their franchise, reports BSS.
All government, semi-government, autonomous bodies, private offices, government and private educational institutions under the pourasava will enjoy the holiday, official sources said.
However, concerned teachers and employees do not cover the holiday, if there is any public examination on the day.
