Punish Mizan's killers, rally demands

PABNA, Nov 2: Thousands of people including the teachers and the students from different educational institutions of the district headquarter formed a human chain in Pabna town Tuesday demanding the punishment of the killers of College Teacher Mizanur Rahman. The teachers and the students raised voice against Eve teasing (stalking) as it has turned into a miserable social disease lately.
Shachetan Shikhhak Shomaj (Conscious Teachers Society), Pabna, organized the human chain and protest rally held at Pabna Town hall premises at about 12pm Tuesday. Teachers and students from different educational institutions of the district headquarter participated in the protest rally and demanded punishment of alleged stalkers.
One-hour long human chain was formed in front of Pabna town hall premises at about 12pm. The demonstrators called for the exemplary punishment of the killers of teacher Mizanur Rahman and all other stalkers as well.
Later the agitated teachers submitted a memorandum to the Pabna Deputy Commissioner office demanding the punishment of killers Mizanur Rahman.
