Pvt clinic sealed off after patient dies

A private clinic at Nazirpur municipality in Patnitala upazila of Naogaon was sealed off by the administration on Saturday, following the death of a patient due to wrong treatment. The deceased was identified as Israel Hossain, 52, son of late Abdul Jabbar of Uttarail village of Patnitala upazial. Local sources said Israel was admitted to the Apollo Clinic and Diagnostics as he suffered acute appendicitis on Thursday night. Israel died on Saturday morning after undergoing an appendectomy by fake doctors at the clinic, according to a news agency.
