Pvt varsities asked to fulfill conditions

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid Monday said that stern action would be taken against the private universities if these fail to fulfill the conditions within the stipulated time set by the Education Ministry.
“Stern action will be taken against the private universities, which will fail to fulfill the conditions and ensure quality education and congenial environment within the stipulated time,” he said at the 13th convocation of East West University in the capital.
Nahid said the university students must acquire knowledge, skills and self-confidence to lead the nation and also the world, according to a news agency.
