Qazi Azad's qulkhwani today

Qulkhwani of Qazi Huamyun Azad Bakhsh, the senior editorial consultant of the Financial Express and former acting chairman of the Bangladesh Tariff Commission, will be held today (Tuesday).
The qulkhwani will be held after Asr prayer at the deceased's residence in the city at 14 North Road (Bhuter Goli).
Azad (61), son of late Qazi Mohammad Bakhsh, died following a massive cardiac arrest at his apartment residence Saturday morning.
In his prolonged service career as a civil servant, he worked with the Ministry of Information and other ministries of the government.
Azad was working with the Financial Express until his death. He endeared himself to his colleagues in the FE. Azad used to scribe columns on different socio-political and economic issues even when he was serving as a top government official.
He left behind his wife, Leena Azad, one son, Ehsan, and two daughters - Tazin and Farzana, son-in-laws, Wasim and Arif, grand sons, Wasil and Azlan, and grand daughters, Elma and Antara.
