Quack shot dead in Jessore

JESSORE, Mar 27 (UNB): A quack was shot to death by unknown miscreants at Mirzapur village in Keshabpur upazila on Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Subroto Kumar Kundu,35, son of Kartik Kumar Kundu, a resident of Bhallukghar village in the upazila.
Police said a group of miscreants opened fire on Subroto at about 10:00 pm in the area while he was returning home from the upazila headquarters. Hearing Subroto's screams, local people rescued him and took him to hospital where on-duty doctors declared him dead.
