Communications Minister Obaidul Quader on Saturday blamed the current wave of abductions on an unidentified quarter trying to create anarchy in the country. “But since we are in power, the government in no way can avoid taking a share of the blame,” he told a meeting with senior citizens at Alexandar Government Primary School in Laxmipur district. Obaidul said stern actions will be taken against the perpetrators to stop the abductions and forced disappearances, according to UNB.
