Quader urges BNP to come back, talk in Parliament

Awami League (AL) Presidium Member and chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Information Obaidul Quader Sunday called upon the BNP to return to parliament for discussions instead of issuing threats of movement.
The AL leader said this as the chief guest at a discussion on 'Confusing Statements by BNP Leaders: Responsibilities of Countrymen' at the Dhaka Reporters' Unity (DRU) auditorium in the city Sunday, reports BSS.
'Thikana Bangladesh' and 'Janatar Prottasha' jointly organised the discussion with Janatar Prottasha President and Krishak League Organising Secretary MA Karim in the chair.
Dhaka city AL Vice-president Fayez Uddin Mian, Abahani Limited Director Sheikh Mohammad Jahangir, AL sub-committee assistant secretary Nurul Alam Ruhul, Juba League Environment Secretary AKM Minhazuddin Mintu, freedom fighter Abdul Hai Kanu, Bangamata Parishad General Secretary M Anisur Rahman and Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote General Secretary Arun Sarker Rana also spoke on the occasion.
The doors for dialogue should not be closed, Quader said and added that a fair election is possible in the country with participation of all political parties.
