Quader's health condition improves

The condition of Transport Minister Obaidul Quader improved further after his bypass surgery in March, doctors at Singapore's Mount Elizabeth Hospital said on Tuesday, reports UNB.
Quoting Dr Philip Koh, head of a medical team treating Quader, Prof Dr Abu Nasar Rizvi of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) said the minister's health was stable.
Quader's health checkup was completed around 12:00 noon, he said. "All health parameters have improved as expected."
The minister's wife Advocate Isratunnesa Quader, Bangladesh High Commissioner to Singapore Md Mustafizur Rahman and others were present at the hospital.
Quader went to Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore for check-up on July 14. He had undergone a bypass surgery on March 20 and was shifted to a cabin six days later.
He was admitted to BSMMU on March 03 following breathing complications where tests revealed three blockages in his coronary artery.
