Quality control of drugs has become a very big concern, particularly, after the recent tragedies of children dying for taking substandard paracetamol syrup produced by a local company. The demand for strict monitoring of the companies for ensuring quality control has become loud indeed.
The government should strictly monitor the production processes of the drug companies. The government needs to strengthen its monitoring capacity. Quality control is a must to protect the domestic consumers as well as to promote exports.
