Quamrul Hassan Art School holds prize distribution programme

Patua Quamrul Hassan Art School held a prize distribution ceremony for winners of 'Patua Quamrul Hassan Children's Art Competition' and a discussion on Quamrul Hassan on the occasion of the artist's 86th birth anniversary in the city recently.
National Professor Kabir Chowdhury was present on the occasion as the chief guest, while ex-adviser Prof Zillur Rahman Siddiquee and Prof Murtuza Bashir were present as the special guests.
Noted economist and Chairman of the school Atiur Rahman presided over the programme.
Former director general of Bangladesh National Museum Prof Shamsuzzaman Khan, UGC Chairman Prof Nazrul Islam, poet Nirmelendu Gun, artist Biren Shome and Executive Chairman of the school Ata Sarkar spoke at the programme.
Jury Board Member Professor Farida Zaman declared the names of the winners of the competition.
A total of 40 children won prizes including four gold medals.
