The launching ceremony of a book titled "Sristipuron O Ononya Lokokotha" scribed by Quazi Johirul Islam held at a city hotel Friday at the sideline of a three-day Non-resident Bangladeshis Conference (NRBs)-2007.
This is the fourteenth book of the writer in his line of work that contains a special selection of myth and folktale that African people believe and cherish in their daily life.
Professor of the Bangla department of Dhaka University Anissuzaman, Director General of Bangla Academy Syed Mohammad Shahed and Deputy Editor of the Daily Prothom Alo Anisul Haque took part in discussion, among others, on the book.
Eminent poet Asad Chowdhury moderated the discussion session on the book, which was published by the Scholars Publishers.
