Quereshi urged not to use PDP for his party

Chairman of People's Democratic Party (PDP) Advocate Mohammad Golam Kibria in a statement to the press has urged Progotishil Gonotrantrik Dol (PDP) not to use the short name PDP for his party.
In his statement Kibria said there had been a political party in existence named People's Democratic Party, the abbreviation of which is PDP. The matter was brought to the notice of Progotishil Gonotrantrik Dol chief Ferdous Ahmed Quereshi who paid no heed to the matter, he added.
A case has been filed in the 4th Court of Assistant Judge, Dhaka for refraining him from using the name PDP for his party.
