Question of lifting emergency to be resolved thru' talks with CG, hopes AL

Awami League (AL) hopes that the question of complete withdrawal of the state of emergency and other smaller issues would be resolved through discussions with the caretaker government (CG) ahead of the polls, reports UNB.
Acting general secretary of the party Syed Ashraful Islam expressed the hope while talking to journalists at AL acting president Zillur Rahman's Gulshan house.
He demanded full lifting of the emergency for holding a credible election to parliament.
In reply to a question Ashraful said they have no apprehension about the holding of the general election on December 18.
