Qulkhani of Zaglul Ahmed Chowdhury held

The qulkhani of noted journalist Zaglul Ahmed Chowdhury was held Friday after Asar prayers at Gulshan Azad Mosque in the city.
Senior journalists, academicians, political leaders, cultural personalities including Food Minister Advocate Quamrul Islam, Editor of 'Daily Star' Mahfuz Anam, Educationist Dr Mohammad Farashuddin and BNP Vice-Chairman Shamsher Mabin Chowdhury, among others, attended the qulkhani.
Renowned journalist and columnist Zaglul Ahmed Chowdhury died in a road accident in the city's Karwan Bazar area on November 29.
Zaglul Ahmed, consulting editor of the Financial Express, met with the tragic end of his life while going to a private television channel at Karwan Bazar to join a talk-show.
He was former managing director and chief editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), according to a news agency.
