Quota protesters enforce two-hour strike at colleges, univs today

Quota protesters will observe a two-hour strike in all colleges and universities across the country today (Sunday) as their 24-hour ultimatum to the government for publishing a gazette abolishing quota system expired on Thursday, reports UNB.
Bangladesh General Students' Rights Protection Alliance convener Hasan Al Mamun came up on Saturday with the announcement from a press briefing in front of the central library of Dhaka University.
He said as the government failed to publish a gazette on abolishing quota system in government jobs as per the Prime Minister's announcement by Thursday the two-hour strike will be observed at all colleges and universities from 11am to 1.0pm on Sunday.
