RAB arrest BNP leader in city over sabotage plan

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members arrested a ward-level BNP leader of Dhaka North city unit from his Khilgaon residence in the city early Saturday, reports UNB.
The arrestee is Mirza Hasan Imam alias Bulu, 50, organising secretary of ward-23 unit BNP.
Contacted, Commander of Crime Prevention Company-1 of Rab-3 Major Gallib claimed that Bulu was arrested along with seven patrol bombs and two crude bomb-like objects after 1 am.
Bulu had been planning to carry out subversive acts ahead of the upcoming national election, he said.
