RAB arrest LeT Bangladesh chief

NARAYANGANJ, Sep 30 (bdnews24.com): The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have arrested a member of Pakistan-based militant organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), claimed to be the organisation's Bangladesh coordinator.
Mohammad Imran (43), son of Mohammad Mia of Paikpara village under Baniachong Upazila of Habiganj, was arrested at 7:30pm Wednesday from Madaninagar area of Narayanganj.
Imran was presented before reporters at a press briefing at the RAB-11 headquarters today (Thursday).
RAB-11 Director Lieutenant Colonel Gazi Ahsanuzzaman said Imran was living for a long time in a rented house at Madaninagar.
The LeT leader used to recruit members for the organisation and prepare passports and visas to send them to Pakistan, the RAB claimed.
