RAB asked to submit probe report Dec 30

A Dhaka court refixed Tuesday December 30 for the submission of the probe report on the murder case of journalist couple Sagar Sarowar and Meherun Runi, reports UNB.
Metropolitan Magistrate Muhammad Maruf Hossain set the new date following time petition filed by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) assistant police super Wares Ali Miah, also investigation officer of the case.
The court has so far deferred the date for submission of the probe report for 29 times.
On February 11, 2012, Maasranga TV news editor Sagar and ATN Bangla senior reporter Runi were found murdered in their rented flat in Dhaka's Rajabazar.
Three investigation officers have so far been changed. The fourth one, Wares Ali, took over the onus of investigation into the gruesome murder in March this year.
