RAB chief summoned for questioning over N\\\'ganj 7-murder

The administrative committee investigating the Narayanganj 7 murders has summoned Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)'s Director General Mokhlesur Rahman for questioning. He has been asked to be present at the Secretariat at 2:30pm on Monday, said Abul Kashem Mohiuddin, an investigator. The committee was formed on May 7 on the High Court orders. It has been tasked to find if the law enforcers were involved in the murders in any way or whether they neglected to find the abductees alive. Mohiuddin on Sunday said that the RAB chief would be questioned at the office of Public Administration Additional Secretary Shahjahan Ali, who is leading the inquiry. The probe team earlier had questioned RAB Additional Director General Col Ziaul Ahsan over the murders, according to bdnews24.com.
