RAB claims to seize vehicle used by killers of RU teacher

RAB says it has traced the auto-rickshaw used by the killers of Rajshahi University teacher AKM Shafiul Islam, reports  bdnews24.com.
RAB's Rajshahi wing Deputy Commander Maj Shafiqul Islam said the vehicle was found abandoned near the city's railway station.
Sociology teacher Prof Islam was hacked to death on Nov 15 near the campus. Police had said after arresting 11 over the killing that 'Jamaat-e-Islami-controlled' militants were involved.
The auto-rickshaw belongs to Tokai Babu, said RAB official Islam. "Sabuj (Sheikh) went to the crime scene with arms in this auto-rickshaw. It was parked nearby during the murder. The assailants fled by this vehicle."
Meanwhile, the Rajshahi police, investigating the case, have brushed away RAB's claim that the killing was the result of personal feud.
