RAB detains Nur

Gono Odhikar Parishad President Nurul Hoque Nur was detained by law enforcers from his Rampura residence before dawn on Saturday, according to his party colleagues, reports UNB.
Abu Hanif, a central leader of the party, claimed that a team of RAB-3 battalion conducted a raid on his Rampura residence at around 4:00am and took him away.
However, there has been no official word from either Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) or the Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police about Nur's apparent arrest till filing of this report at 8:00pm on Saturday.
