Rab disbandment: Inu continues attack on Khaleda

Continuing his verbal tirade against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, Information Minister Hasanul Huq Inu on Thursday said Khaleda Zia’s demand for disbanding Rab has proved again that she is still engaged in conspiracies to protect militants and terrorists. “Khaleda’s demand for disbanding the elite force is provocative and politically motivated, and she has proved again with her demand that she is still engaged in conspiracies to protect militants and terrorists,” Inu said. The Information Minister was addressing a press briefing at his ministry over the demand of disbanding the elite force Rab by various quarters in the wake of growing incidents of abduction and killing in the country, particularly the ones in the port city of Narayanganj, according to a news agency.
