RAB man on fresh remand

NARAYANGANJ, Oct 28 (UNB): A court here placed on Tuesday Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) member Lance Corporal Ruhul Amin on a five-day fresh remand in a case filed in connection with the sensational seven murders.
Senior Judicial Magistrate KM Mahiuddin passed the order after officer-in-charge of district Detective Branch of police Mamunur Rashid, also investigation officer of the case, produced the RAB man before his court seeking a seven-day remand.
President of Narayanganj Bar Association Sakhawat Hossain said Ruhul Amin was put on the fourth phase remand in the case filed by Bijoy Kumar Paul, son-in-law of slain lawyer Chandan Kumar Sarker, for killing his father-in-law and his driver.
