RAB nab 14 members of teen-gang in city

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members arrested 14 members of a teenagers gang named 'First Hitter Boss' or "FHB" from the city's Uttara on Saturday night, reports UNB.
The arrestees are Bishu Chandra Shil, 20, Nayeem Miah, 18, Yasin Arafat, 18, Asif Mahmud, 20, Farhad Hossain, Al Amin Hossain, 19, Md Bijoy, 19, Shawon Hossain Sifat, 21, Imamul Hasan Munna, 19, Tanvir Hawlader, 18, Md Akash Mia, 18, Merajul Islam Jonny, 20, Hazrat Ali, and Md Rajib.
Based on secret information, a team of RAB-1 conducted a drive in front of the Uttara Rajuk office around 11:30 pm and arrested the 14 members, said RAB-1 Commanding Officer Lt Col Sarwar Bin Kashem.
The gang members were involved in consuming drugs, eve teasing, mugging, sharing vulgar videos on Facebook and their unethical activities are harmful for the future generation, he said.
The elite force members also recovered one firearm and two knives from their possessions.
During preliminary interrogation, the arrestees revealed that they are members of "FHB" gang and the group runs a dance academy named 'PSB' to increase its members, said Lt Col Sarwar.
Although Bishu introduced himself as a dance master he has no institutional knowledge about it, he said.
