RAB nabs four for cheating job aspirants

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four men on charges of cheating jobseekers with fake army appointment letters at Mirpur-12 in the capital's Pallabi area, a press release said.
They were identified as Md. Mofazzal Hossain (45) and Md. Masud Rana (35) both hailed from Magura, Md. Abu Hafiz (31) and Fakhrul Mia (54) hailed from Sirajganj and Faridpur respectively.
A gang of frauds has been cheating jobseekers for long assuring them of recruiting in the army, using fake appointment letters, said the Rab-2 release.
Acting on a tipped-off, a detective branch of the elite force arrested the gang members Friday afternoon when they were waiting on the road near the main gate of the cantonment in Mirpur-12.
The Rab personnel also recovered a fake appointment letter from them.
