RAB nabs six robbers in city

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel in a drive arrested six members of a robber gang from Jatrabari area of the capital, reports UNB.
The arrestees were identified as Nannu Sardar, 53, Raju Ahmed, 50, Hanif, 50, Humayun, 41, Tahirul, 38, and Rezaul Karim, 32.
Tipped off, a team of RAB-10 conducted a drive in the area on Sunday night and arrested them along with two knives, one axe and one machete, said M J Sohel, assistant director (media) of RAB-10, on Monday.
The arrestees have been involved in committing robbery in the capital's Jatrabari area for long, he added.
