Rabindra-Nazrul Jayonti observed in Magura

MAGURA, May 26: Rabindra-Nazrul Joyonti was observed in Magura.
Rabindra Sangeet Shammilon Parishad, Magura district unit, observed Rabindra Jayonti at Magura Asaduzzaman auditorium Friday and Nazrul Jayonti on Sunday at Magura public library.
Indian singer Krishna Basu Sarker performed in both occasions. The speakers said both poets searched for beauty and fought against communalism and discrimination. In a press briefing to local journalists Krishna Basu Sarker demanded port visa for cultural workers of Bangladesh and India.
