RAB\\\'s security measures for Eid holiday

The elite force, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), has taken stringent security measures across the country for smooth celebration of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the greatest religious festival of Muslims. Sources at the RAB Headquarters said some 2,000 members of the force have already been deployed in the capital and 3,000 more in other parts of the country alongside the other law enforcement agencies to help maintain the law and order. The elite force has strengthened its intelligence surveillance as well as activities at various important points, including crowed areas. Besides, the anti-crime force will provide a three-tier security at major Eidgahs, including the National Eidgah in Dhaka city, bringing those under intelligence surveillances to avert any unpleasant incident on the Eid day.
