Raffle draw of REHAB Fair-'07 held in city

Md. Shahjahan won a 800cc car, the first prize of the raffle draw of REHAB Fair, Dhaka-2007 of Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB).
Shahjahan, a businessman, received the key of Suzuki Alto Maruti car worth Tk 0.6 million from REHAB President Mukarram Husain Khan at a ceremony held at a city hotel Saturday.
The raffle draw of REHAB was held from the 400 entry tickets given to buyers after booking of plots of different real estate companies during the fair.
The week-long fair was held during November 19-25 last.
Speaking at the ceremony, the REHAB president said the REHAB has gradually been trying to expand its market from capital Dhaka to other parts of the country.
As part of its policy, the REHAB president said, it has now taken plan to hold the next REHAB fair in the port city Chittagong in February next year.
REHAB General Secretary Tanveerul Haque Probal and members Syed Sirajul Haque, Rabiul Haque and Enamul Haque were, among others, present at the ceremony.
A total of 100 prizes were given in the raffle draw, which include two air tickets on Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur-Dhaka route for second winners, two air tickets on Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka for third winners, two air tickets on Dhaka-Kathmandu-Dhaka for forth winners and two air tickets of Dhaka-Cox's Bazar-Dhaka for fifth winners.
