Veteran photojournalist Rafiqur Rahman was accorded a reception on his receiving Journalist Of The Year 2007 award given by the international news agency Reuters.
The reception ceremony was held at the National Press Club in the city Monday. With Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) former president Habibur Rahman Milon in the chair, the ceremony was also addressed, among others, by journalists Gholam Tahabur, Zohirul Huq, Zoglul Ahmed Chowdhury, Farid Hossen, Kamal Uddin, Sabuj, Jahangir Hossain, Swapan Shaha, Ahmed Nure Alam, Kamruzzaman, Abu Taher Shamsuddin Ahmed Peyara, M Nuruddin, Shahabuddin Nafa, Abdul Jalil Bhuiyan and Abdus Shahid.
