Rafiqul Haque to receive Shishu Academy Sahitya Puraskar-1420

Litterateur Rafiqul Haque, popularly known as Dadu Bhai, who is reputed for his excellent rhymes, will get Bangladesh Shishu Academy Sahitya Puraskar-1420 (Bangla Year).
Bangladesh Shishu Academy announced his name for the award in a statement signed by its director Mosharraf Hossain on Monday.
"Rafiqul Haque is one of the major artistes in the arena of contemporary Bangla rhymes. He has been writing for all including children and adults for the last six decades. His rhymes are very unique for his diversification of words, rhythms and contents and expression. Bangladesh Shishu Academy Sahitya Puraskar of 1420 has been conferred on him in recognition of his remarkable contribution in the field of literature," the statement added.
Rafiqul Haque's notable books are: 'Panta Bhate Ghee', 'Borgi Elo Deshe', 'Nebur Pata Karamcha', 'Dhamerki' and 'Aampata Jora Jora', 'Boi Boi Hoi Hoi' (Play) and 'Prachin Banglar Rupkatha', a BSS report said.
